Last year we did an audio review of every Gamecock football season since 1987. Due to popular demand, we will be re-running the series this summer leading up to kickoff against Texas A&M on August 28.
Buckshots changes things up a little in this edition, covering the frustrating 2002 and 2003 seasons in one episode.
The program was seemingly on solid footing after going 17-7 in 2000 and 2001, but cracks in the foundation began to show shortly afterwards. (Metaphor alert!) We blast through back-to-back 5-7 seasons in ’02-’03, pausing to review some highlights and lowlights, including this play against Georgia in 2002, this one against Virginia in 2003, and perhaps the most embarrassing game in Gamecock history.

(Editor’s Note: I took a pause before the final game of ’03 and have no idea what happened to the sound quality, so apologies for that.)
