Roth is getting the start tonight.
It’s amazing we’ve gotten this far with only 2 starting pitchers this season, Roth and Other Guy.
Not sure how I feel about the Roth start – seems like we are hamstringing ourselves for the final series.
Its just another example of how I’m a genius and Ray Tanner is an idiot.
Woah – just try typing “Ray Tanner is an idiot.” Makes your fingers actually laugh at the stupidity of your brain.

But I didn’t like Cooper getting the start last year and he proceeded to throw a one-hitter.

Anyway, the image I was trying to post was simply a visual way of saying “I don’t like Tanner’s decision”.
I think the ambiguity of the * perfectly expresses your point.
Like I put on Tweeter, if you lose tonight with Koumas/Neff/Webb/Mata or whoever, you still have Roth to fall back on tomorrow. You lose with Roth tonight, and all of the sudden you’re in deep doo.
Maybe Tanner thinks if he can win with Roth tonight, he might still be able to get some innings out of him in the championship series. Tanner’s pretty old school when it comes to pitchers – if your arm ain’t falling off, then you’re good to go.
